Now residing in Tokyo, Demsky takes a lot of his inspiration from artists like Bonobo, Lemon Jelly and the beat-making, post-rock scenes that he\u2019s heavily involved in. He has graced the stage at such festivals as Asagiri Jam, Zizkovska Noc, Tone River Jam, and has played countless tours throughout Europe, Japan and Canada.<\/p>\n

The ambient and weaving formations of the layers in each of Demsky’s tracks are representations of the elements of the environment around us, each more beautiful than the next especially when they interlace. The rawness and unpredictability of the sounds is to show that nothing is ever the same twice, which Demsky translates in live sets.<\/p>\n

From the start the two committed to a simple and spontaneous live approach to writing music, opting for analog synths and drum machines instead of laptops and digital effects. Satoshi Kanno is an electronic musician and video artist living in Tokyo. He Started producing electronic music in 2013 after being in a number of bands. Satoshi also organized the electronic music + culture event \u201cQuat out\u201d in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture.<\/p>\n

In 2015, he participated in a number of compilation releases contributing tracks to Columbian label ‘Future Disorder’, Russian imprint ‘Nenormalizm’, and Japanese label ‘On Sunday Recordings’. Years of honing his unique IDM, industrial, layered sound culminated with his 2017 release “The Border EP”.
\nHis live performances transcend simple musicality by incorporating visuals rendered in real time for a true audio\/visual experience.<\/p>\n

Goto Kai was born in Yokohama, Japan, in 1987. She currently lives and works in Tokyo. She developed an interest in painting from an early age. Not being able to continue her education at an art college, she continues to refine her unique art style through freelance work. She focuses primarily on minimalistic abstract work.<\/p>\n

Currently she\u2019s concentrating on the \u201cfragment\u201d series. Making each \u201cfragment\u201d one by one they are combined to symbolize the ever-changing transition of people and things through division and reintegration.
\nShe also has been heavily involved as a VJ since 2012 mainly playing in the club scene in Tokyo. SOUND MUSEUM VISION, WOMB, UNIT, ageHa…etc. She has graced the stage and collaborated at events like Countdown Festival. VJ’d for Royksopp, Monika Kruse and KENISHII at TOKYO COUNTDOWN 2020.<\/p>\n
