Numb began his career in 1991 as the manipulator for the legendary Japanese hip-hop group “Buddah Brand”. In 1995, he founded “Karma Musik”, releasing several singles, and went on to launch his own label “Revirth” in 1997, releasing a wide range of recordings. Since the mid-1990s, he has performed extensively both in Japan and abroad using electronic devices and laptops. His activities span a wide range of fields, including collaborations with musicians, composing for commercial use, and teaching as a DTM educator. Recently, he established “Sonora Online Masterclass”, an online DTM school dedicated to electronic music production.

Tsutchie is best known as the trackmaker and producer for the pioneering hip-hop group “Shakkazombie”, contributing to three albums while also producing and remixing for numerous artists across a wide range of styles. In recent years, he has been active as a genre-crossing music producer, expanding beyond hip- hop into a wide range of styles. His first solo album, “Thanks for Listening”, was released in 2002, followed by his second solo album “This is a recording” in 2003, recorded and mixed almost entirely on his own. He composed two soundtrack albums for the anime ” Samurai Champloo” in 2004, followed by the soundtrack for “GANGSTA.” in 2015. Most recently, he has also been active as a recording and mastering engineer. In 2011, he launched his own label ” SYNC TWICE”, through which he has released works by artists such as Kumiko Yanagida and RUNRUNRUNS.
