Originally starting out as a House kid, Lorenz Rhode has evolved his music into a custom blend of influences over the years.
Imagine Rick James dating Chaka Khan, dancing to Daft Punk and Technotronic, making sweet love to a Stevie Wonder ballad, when suddenly a group of German robots and a Yellow Magic Orchestra come rushing into the hotel suite and… they all decide to go to France instead.
ハウス好きとして出発したローレンツ・ローデは、年月と共にさまざまな音楽の要素を混ぜ合わせて独自の世界を築いてきた。
言ってみれば、リック・ジェームズがチャカ・カーンをデートに誘い、ダフト・パンクとテクノトロニクスに合わせて踊り、スティーヴィー・ワンダーのバラードに甘い口説き文句をささやいたかと思うと、ホテルのスイートルームにドイツのロボットの一団とイエロー・マジック・オーケストラが突然になだれ込んできて、出し抜けにみんなでフランスに行くことにする──ちょうどそんなイメージだ。
